General Description:
The Colorado People's Assembly is a chance for occupy activists in the state and the region to get together, share resources, build relationships and contacts, to learn, plan events, and to talk about the issues.  It will be held at the Duane Physics and Astrophysics Building (Room G1B30) at CU Boulder February 18th, 9:30am to 6pm.  The conference is free to all participants.

Food:
We will be providing some breakfast (and light snacks during the day).  All participants will be on their own for lunch, so you can either brown bag it, eat on campus, or walk to an off campus restaurant.

We have limited space for this event, so please RSVP if you plan on attending.

Agenda (subject to change):
The mourning will mainly be spent signing up for the afternoon focus groups, and getting to know people from other GA's and building relationships with them.

We have a few focus groups planned out for the early afternoon.  We have confirmed focus group rooms on:

-GA Consensus and Procedures.

-Economic Inequality (with help from Colorado Progressive Coalition).

-Coordinating events statewide.

-Money in politics (with help from Common Cause Colorado).

-Healthcare.

-Foreclosures (with help from Colorado Progressive Coalition).

-We also have rooms and space available for participants and GA's to bring their own ideas for focus groups at the conference.  If you would like to present a focus group room, please come with a plan to do so, arrive early (~8:30), and have a note taker and stacker already recruited.  The conference working group will not staff or organize your focus group.  Outside groups are welcome to participate, but we ask that a occupy organizer facilitate the room.  Please email us at occupycuboulder@gmail.com with your focus group idea/concept.  If we run out of space, the focus groups will be allotted space on a first come first serve basis.

The late afternoon and early evening will consist of report backs from the focus groups, skill sharing workshops, and committee resource sharing.  If you, or your committee would like to do a skills/resource workshop please contact us at occupycuboulder@gmail.com to arrange it.

Evening Plans:

Occupy Boulder is planning a potential march and one night encampment.  Stay tuned for more details!
