MAR 30: Intnl Hoodie Day: take photo!

From a Facebook invite:

https://www.facebook.com/events/388914511128060/

Take a photo of your self in a hoodie and post it on this wall.
This event has no actual end date.
This event will continue to be rolled forward beyond the current date showing, and will end the day there is justice for Trayvon Martin.

This event was scheduled to begin Saturday, March 24, 2012, and has now been rolled forward to March 31, 2012 due to issues with the "Invite Friends" button disappearing once the event date has been reached, as well as making it impossible for people to post their hoodie pics.
So, before the date showing here is reached, it will be moved forward again so all can continue to invite others and share pics, thoughts, support and friendship.

The point of this event is for solidarity on behalf of Trayvon Martin, and to bring together the social community in ending racial stereotyping and acts of violence against all people based on those presumptions of guilt.

No matter the age, nor the color of anyone's skin, we are one race, one people.

Please join and share this event with your friends by using the Invite Friends button at the top right corner of this page.
If you choose to not share a photo of yourself in a hoodie, please feel free to leave a comment, or just the word "Hoodie!", in showing your solidarity in support of seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.

* IDOTH Notifications In Your Email*
Just a reminder that you can choose to opt in or out of email notifications by using the gear box at the right corner found at top of this page. Using the drop down menu, you can choose to turn notifications on or off.

NOTICE:
Those who choose to post negative posts and/or comments, or attempt to bait other event participants into a fight, especially about race, will no longer be allowed to be a part of the IDOTH event, and will be removed.
Respect for others should be a rule that goes without saying here on the IDOTH event page, as we are in support and solidarity in seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.
***PLEASE NOTE that the rule I have posted does not mean we cannot have civil discourse or disagree with each other.
***WHAT IT MEANS is that racially biased posts and/or purposely baiting others into a fight over race, and attempts to incite with hateful and overtly rude responses or posts will not be tolerated.
We are joined here as a community by the IDOTH event.
Please PM me or one of the other hosts if you think you see a problem, and we will take care of it.
I would greatly appreciate it if you, as a participant, do not engage in conversation with anyone who appears to be trolling as this only encourages them to continue or to possibly return under a different Facebook identity should they be deleted from this event.
Thank you! ♥
